The House Cup is up and running with the first house event of the year, cross country, taking place last week with every student from year 7 to 11 taking part.

The competition was fierce in year 7 with all students getting their first experience of The Bulmershe School house competition.  Deserving a special mention is Louis Hutchings (Hawk) and Mia Barker (Hurricane) overall winners of the boys and girls races. The year 7 Hurricane girls lived up to their house name, with 10 of them coming in the first 17 in the whole of year 7, which is a strong sign of some real talent in the house this year.

After the first round of events it's a tie between 3 houses for second place, but out in front Hawk are the early leaders.
