Wednesday morning saw the following four Year 7 students - Afeni Taylor, Jake Lansdell, Daniella Serwaa-Bonsu and Thomas Nolan attend St. Dominic Savio primary school to deliver a presentation on what it’s like moving on up to secondary school.

The students, along with Miss Harris, Transition Coordinator, and Mrs Edwards, current Head of Year 7 presented to more than 60 St. Dominic Year 5 and 6 pupils, sharing their personal experiences. They were also on hand to answer a number of questions about Bulmershe and what it was like to be a Year 7. The primary teachers were also delighted to hear about the importance of being independent.

Transition Ambassadors will visit many other local primary school in the next few weeks, in an endeavour to make the move from primary to secondary school that little bit easier for pupils.
