Sixth Form: Letters and Key dates

We believe that communication with parents is essential for students in the Bulmershe Sixth Form to achieve their full potential. Therefore we will ensure that all letters which are given to students or sent home will be added to this page for your convenience.

On this page we will also include some useful website links to articles which may help provide further guidance for parents of Sixth Form students.

Pupil Premium students in Sixth Form

There may be financial assistance available for Pupil Premium pupils for equipment, school trips and other activitiesbut individual enquiries to the school should be made regarding this assistance.

Please contact the school office on 0118 9353353 or alternatively, office@bulmershe.wokingham.sch.uk who will pass on your enquiry to Mr Staton, Assistant Headteacher who manages Pupil Premium funding.

Public exams, Monday 15th May 2017 - Friday 23rd June 2017. For the timetable please click the pdf below.

Year 12 Residential trip to Dorset, dates T.B.A.

Monday 26th June – Sixth Form Ethos day for upcoming students. For details see the letter below.

Tuesday 27th June – Sixth Form Taster day for upcoming students. 8.30am start. This day will allow upcoming students the chance to try A level subjects and to get a taste of what can be expected next year.

Monday 3rd July – Personal statement workshop for all year 12 students, periods 1 and 2 within the canteen. Students will begin to understand the structure of writing a personal statement and how best to use summer 2017 productively in order to strengthen their overall application.

Thursday 13th July – UCAS Parents information evening. Starting at 6pm. This will allow parents the opportunity to learn about the university application process and how best to support students through this very important time. Letters will be sent home regarding this event.
