We welcome applications from NQTs

The Bulmershe School has an opportunity available for an outstanding Maths teacher.

Our Maths department is an established department with experienced teachers many of whom hold positions of responsibility within the school. The team work tirelessly to achieve outstanding results both at GCSE and A level. Our outcomes have improved significantly over the past 4 years and we consistently achieve much higher than national outcomes for all groups of students. Take up at A level is very strong, making A level maths one of the most popular subjects in the school. We also offer Further Maths at A level.

Teaching and Learning within the department is exciting, forward thinking and progressive. Our more able mathematicians benefit from studying Additional Maths alongside their GCSE. Lower down the school, our more able year 7, 8 and 9 students are following a Maths programme designed with the support of Simon Singh, mathematician, journalist, writer and TV producer, and 3 other schools in the country.

We will consider applications as they arrive in school.
