Safeguarding Lead and Inclusion team member

(To cover maternity leave)

Grade 7:  Full Time, 8am-4 pm, £28,785 - £32,029 (£17.01 to £18.92 hourly rates), pro rata, term time only including 3 additional days.

This is a rewarding and challenging role with the opportunity to work with key students in a supportive and progressive school. This role would suit an individual with a desire to support vulnerable students and situations.

As safeguarding lead and inclusion team member you will:

  • Plan, deliver and monitor agreed work programmes for students under safeguarding concerns/plans
  • Support with the management of our safeguarding systems (CPOMS)
  • Plan and deliver effective preventative interventions
  • Communicate regularly with external agencies
  • Set up, manage and monitor effective mentoring programmes
  • Monitor effectiveness of current systems
  • Deliver staff training
  • To be the lead member of staff for the Management of our safeguarding recording system; CPOMS.
  • To support the Inclusion team as and when necessary

This is a key role within the school and it is important that the successful candidate has experience of safeguarding, and working with external agencies, as well as the ability to be adaptable and reflective within working practices. Additionally, the successful applicant will need to be able to build good relationships with students of all ages.

Science Technician - Chemistry

Term time only,  37 hours a week

(Flexible working will be considered)

£16,223 - £17,560 a year (actual salary)

  • We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic technician.
  • Duties include the maintenance and provision of Chemistry apparatus for lessons and maintaining the inventory of Chemistry equipment
  • We have 10 Science laboratories; each with an interactive whiteboard.
  • Our priority is ensuring that our lessons are engaging, stimulating, relevant and above all promote a genuine interest in Science.
