School Term time only (38 weeks per year, for 37 hours per week, 8-4pm Friday 3.30pm) Salary shown is actual salary.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and innovative individual who has the desire to be part of a successful school. You will help shape and ensure the continued success of our highly popular secondary school which serves as a learning environment for 1200 students in our community.

With your passion for delivering great service, you will create a positive atmosphere and professional impression that reflects our core values and ethos. The role is varied and fast paced and will involve dealing with a variety of administrative tasks, associated with a large secondary school. You may be required to support on our busy reception and be the first point of contact for parents, students and all school visitors.

The ability to prioritise effectively is a must, as are, written communication skills, interpersonal skill, IT skills and great customer service.

Previous experience of working in a reception and/or administrative role is essential, preferably in an education setting.

You will need to demonstrate your ability to effectively manage a wide range of administration activities, as well as being able to work as part of a team, roll up your sleeves and inspire others to excel.



Full time (term time)

Grade 3 
27.5 hours per week, term time only with 3 inset days, £17,681 p.a.

An opportunity to join a friendly, successful and dedicated team providing learning and emotional support across the curriculum to students with a range of special education needs.
The Support department has its own base with fantastic facilities which afford a superb environment in which to work and learn.
The successful candidate will work with a range of youngsters who have additional needs, alongside class teachers. Applicants should have the equivalent of GCSE grade C in English and Maths and enjoy working with young people. Training will be provided but candidates need to feel confident about their own academic ability.



37 hours a week, term time only plus INSET

Hours of work: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am – 3.30pm Friday.

Grade: 4   £18,870 - £20,541 (Actual Salary £15,655 - £17,042 depending on experience).

The Bulmershe School is seeking a Manager for their IER (Internal Exclusion Room). The successful candidate will share and communicate the values and ethos of the school, possess excellent communication, organisational skills and team work. They will be responsible for the welfare of students and ensure that they follow the school’s Behaviour and Reward Policy.

The successful candidate will work with in Internal Exclusion room, supporting students and ensuring they stay focused on their work during their time there. This job includes dealing with students who display challenging behaviour, communicating regularly with Heads of Year and Senior Leaders. You will keep thorough and up-to-date records of the behavioural journey of the students through the IER and be a good role model. You will be able to develop professional, firm, fair and caring relationships with students and be helpful and welcoming to parents and others, visiting or making contact with the school.
