Why did you choose to come to The Bulmershe School?

I chose Bulmershe to be my secondary school and 6th form because of the subjects, teachers and the people. The atmosphere at Bulmershe has always been one that have been ready to support you and allow you to achieve your best.

How has The Bulmershe School inspired you to strive for your aspirations and dreams?

The teachers at The Bulmershe School have always supported me through my subject choices and have been there through the shifting in years from secondary to being a 6th form student. The courses that Bulmershe have offered, have allowed me to challenge myself as well as pushing me to do my best and achieve my true potential.

How do you feel the co-curricular (extra-curricular clubs, trips, opportunities) experience at The Bulmershe School has benefited you?

I used to sing as part of The Bulmershe Singers, this enabled me to interact and make friends. It also allowed me to compete against other schools. I wish that I had taken part in more extra-curricular clubs as a way to meet new people and become more interested in other topics and subjects. I have also been a part of the two of the productions in Year 7 and 8. These extra-curricular activities have allowed me to be a part of the different communities and environments that come with doing some extra-curricular clubs.

What would you say is your favourite moment so far in your time at The Bulmershe School?

I’ve actually had too many good memories here from making friends and being there to aid, support and grow in mine and others personal development. My time at Bulmershe has definitely been a memorable experience. The support of students and teachers through exams and the lead up to them. I have always felt supported by the teachers at The Bulmershe School which has allowed me to excel at my subjects.

What is your favourite subject and why?

At Bulmershe, I study Economics, Maths and Psychology. I know this is a cliché be my favourite subject has to be all three because they all equally challenge me and have led me to thrive to do better and achieve what I believe can help me with my future ambitions. All of my subjects have sharpened my skills and have also enabled me to gain new skills which can be used to aid me in all my future endeavours.

What advice would you give to a student about to join The Bulmershe School?

Try to go out of your comfort zone, this is one of the things that will always be a limitation. Someone told me that the only way to ever succeed is to break through your comfort zone and to try things that make you feel uncomfortable. No one ever enjoyed staying in the box. It will always restrict you.
