Why did you choose to come to The Bulmershe School?

The reason I chose to come to The Bulmershe school is because after viewing it in year six I knew I would feel comfortable here. Meeting the teachers and seeing the different resources available, I was so excited to make the move from primary to secondary school and this to me shows I chose the right place because my love for school hasn’t changed since.

How has The Bulmershe School inspired you to strive for your aspirations and dreams?

The Bulmershe School has inspired me to go above and beyond to achieve my dreams through the love my teachers have for their subjects being passed onto me. Seeing this passion has made me want to work hard and achieve my goal to make myself proud and others as well.

How do you feel the co-curricular (extra-curricular clubs, trips, opportunities) experience at The Bulmershe School has benefited you?

The co-curricular activities have been one of the main features of my experience at The Bulmershe School as I wanted to continue the same activities I did within primary school and at The Bulmershe School. I was spoiled for choice not just for sports- which is what I was mainly looking for- but things I had never tried before but was very excited to try: one of these was drama club.

What would you say is your favourite moment so far in your time at The Bulmershe School?

My favourite moment in Bulmershe so far is a very difficult decision to make, however I think the whole of my year 11 was a time I'll never forget from all the build up to exams and the feelings of relief after they were over as well as happiness when I got my results.

What is your favourite subject and why?

My favourite subject is another impossible question. I love all the subjects I do, these being maths, psychology, and PE. However, psychology is the most interesting subject to me as I love learning about psychology related to education. I would like to be an educational psychologist so that’s probably why!

What advice would you give to a student about to join The Bulmershe School?

My advice to a new Bulmershe student is to try their best and have a go at everything. The key is to not be afraid- even if you are a little make it look like you aren’t and then trust me you will start to believe it and will develop confidence so fast which will help in many school aspects.
