Welcome to The Bulmershe School
As Headteacher, I am very pleased and proud to welcome you to the new Bulmershe school website.
Our vision is to be a vibrant, dynamic and ambitious place of learning where every student is
valued and treated as an individual. We set high standards and expectations and we encourage
and support our students to achieve their very best. We want our students to achieve the
success they deserve and leave as well-qualified individuals, confident to take their place
in society and with the empowerment, skills and self-esteem to make a success of their lives.
We are rightly proud of our most recent set of GCSE results; our best ever- easily beating
national averages and local schools.
We are delighted that our local authority has awarded us a £6 million grant to invest in our regeneration project;
do take some time to look at the information in The School > Regeneration Project to see architects'
drawings of our new school Hall and sixth form area. Planning permission has been granted for our new buildings and work is due to start over coming months.
Our website is a celebration of the wide range of our students' achievements and will give you
an indication of the many opportunities available at The Bulmershe School. This is an exciting
time for The Bulmershe School and we are always pleased to welcome visitors – if you can’t make
any of our scheduled open mornings, we will be delighted to show you round on a normal working
day. Contact the school and arrangements can be made for me or one of my senior staff to give
you a tour and answer any questions you may have.
