Why did you choose to come to The Bulmershe School?

I moved here from Italy in the summer just before Year 7. My dad had completed some research into local schools and found this to be the best choice.

How has The Bulmershe School inspired you to strive for your aspirations and dreams?

Teachers never give you unrealistic targets and always encourage you to achieve your best and aspire you to achieve your aspirations.

How do you feel the co-curricular (extra-curricular clubs, trips, opportunities) experience at The Bulmershe School has benefited you?

Taking part in clubs has helped me develop as an individual, which I feel is just as important as getting good grades. At The Bulmershe school you have the opportunity to make friends with a variety of interests.

What would you say is your favourite  moment so far in your time at The Bulmershe School?

Academically, I’d say GCSE results day, seeing all my hard work pay off with good grades was wonderful, a truly great moment I will treasure.

In terms of extra curricular activities, my favourite moment was in the second performance of our last musical, Sweeney Todd. As I was reciting my lines, I fully discovered my love for musical theatre.

What is your favourite subject and why?

My favourite subject is chemistry as I have a better understanding of how the world around us works the more I learn and the teachers here share that passion.

What advice would you give to a student about to join The Bulmershe School?

Work hard and have fun! In the future you’ll look back at the 5 or 7 years here and miss it. Make sure you take part in as many opportunities as you can, you might discover a lifelong passion where I am truly grateful to be part of such a caring and aspiring community.
