Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, and at The Bulmershe School, we are committed to making the transition from primary school as smooth and supportive as possible. Our ‘All You Need to Know’ Parent Information Booklet is designed to provide families with key details about life at Bulmershe, ensuring you and your child feel confident and prepared for Year 7.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need, from term dates and school routines to information about extra-curricular activities, homework, and student wellbeing. We also explain our expectations for behaviour, rewards, and support systems, so your child can settle in quickly and thrive in our welcoming school community.

As transition approaches, we will be sending out important updates via email. If you don’t receive them, please check your spam folder and mark our emails as "safe" to stay up to date.

Completing the Year 7 Admissions Form

All families with a child joining us in September 2026 will have been sent a link to our Admissions Form. We use a service called Applicaa for this form, and you should have received a welcome email to the platform.
