Our Recent Open Evening

Our most recent Sixth Form Open Evening took place on Thursday 6th November 2025. It began with a presentation in the main auditorium, covering everything from our entry requirements to the wide range of courses we offer.

Following the talk, prospective students and their families explored our departmental areas and subject stalls. It was a great opportunity for visitors to meet our dedicated teachers and chat with current Sixth Formers about their experiences. For those new to our site, our student ambassadors provided guided tours to showcase our facilities and the dedicated Sixth Form spaces.

Applications and Next Steps

Please note that applications for students wishing to join us in September 2026 have now closed.

We are now moving into the interview phase of our admissions process. This is a chance for us to discuss your subject choices and aspirations in more detail:

• Internal Students: Interviews will take place throughout February.
• External Students: Applicants from other schools will be invited to interview in March.

Future Open Evenings (September 2027 Entry)

If you are currently in Year 10 and looking ahead, we would love to meet you! Dates for our next Sixth Form Open Evening - for those interested in joining us in September 2027 - will be published on this page soon. We expect this event to take place in early November 2026.

We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form, which has grown significantly over the last five years and now supports nearly 300 students. We consistently receive hundreds of applications each year, with the vast majority of our own Year 11 students choosing to continue their journey with us.

Our students achieve outstanding results, with Year 13 leavers progressing to prestigious destinations including Oxford and Cambridge, as well as highly competitive higher-level degree apprenticeships.
