May we extend a very warm welcome to parents, carers and students of Year 11.

We work together as a strong team as the students commence their GCSE courses. The Year 11 team will continue to support the students as we have done for the past four years. It is essential that all students focus on their academic studies and we look forward to seeing how the students progress and thrive in their chosen subjects.

Leavers' Assembly - Friday 3rd July:

• 8:45am start.
• Students to arrive via the back gate from the car park/sports centre path which will be open for them and enter the auditorium from here.
• We will have the assembly until 9:45am approx. and then there will be an opportunity to sign shirts and take photos at the back of the auditorium before leaving the same way through the gate.
• If they need to bring their bikes, they can secure these outside the library.
• All students will leave site at 10am.

Prom - Friday 3rd July:

• Arrival from 6:30pm at Sindlesham Court,  Mole Road, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 5EA.  Students can watch others arrive or go into the venue’s foyer.
• Parents can come and watch but will need to park in the main car park of the venue to allow the prom cars to arrive and leave via the side road.  We will have staff on hand to direct!  Please let the marshals know if you are parking or dropping off students and they will direct you accordingly.  Please do not arrive any earlier than 6:15pm as we will still be setting up.
• 7pm start with welcome drink and photos.  Food will be served at 8pm and there will be a disco, photo booths, sweet cart, professional photographer (see previous email) and hopefully lots of dancing from 7pm!
• Cash or card?  The photographer is able to take both.  I am awaiting confirmation from the venue, but we believe they also will accept both for drinks.
• Prom will end at 10pm and students will need to be collected at this time from the main car park.  As we have over 200 students attending, please lift share where possible.
• As always, we will expect high standards of behaviour to allow everyone to enjoy the event.  Students must not bring anything they are not allowed to bring into school and will not be allowed outside for the prom (the venue is air conditioned!). If we have any concerns regarding behaviour, you will be contacted and asked to collect your child.  However I am sure this won’t be an issue and they will all have an amazing time.
