Bulmershe A-Level Results surpass National Average
Back
The Bulmershe School is immensely proud to announce a fantastic set of A-level results for 2025, which reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and staff. This year's results demonstrate our students' unwavering commitment and have opened doors to a wide range of exciting future opportunities.
Our students achieved a remarkable 33% of grades at A*-A, surpassing the national average of 28.3%. An impressive 61% of all results were A*-B, with 82% of all results at A*-C. These results are a testament to the perseverance of our students and the exceptional support provided by our teaching staff.
We are particularly pleased with the performance in several subjects, including 3D Design, Photography, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Literature, French, Italian, Physics, Spanish and EPQ, all of which performed in line with the top 25% of the country.
Beyond the statistics, we are very proud of the diverse and ambitious pathways our students are now pursuing. Whether their goal is a place at a top university, a competitive degree apprenticeship, a place at a renowned conservatoire, or a direct entry into the workforce, our students are well-prepared for their next steps.
We have many individual success stories to share, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities available.
University Success: A number of students are heading to prestigious universities. Abigail, who achieved four A* grades, has secured a place to study Engineering at The University of Cambridge. Ayla will be studying Marketing at the University of Bristol and Abby has been accepted to study Civil Engineering at UCL. Others, like Sahil (Mechatronic Engineering at The University of Manchester), Connie (Psychology at The University of Manchester), and Leilani (Physics with Astrophysics at The University of Bath), are also heading to Russell Group and top universities.
Highly-Sought Apprenticeships: For those seeking a direct route into their chosen careers, we are celebrating a number of students who have secured degree-level apprenticeships with leading companies. Veronica is joining Ernst & Young, Lara is starting with BP in HR, and Annabelle has an apprenticeship with Deloitte. Others, including Abdullah and Robbie, have secured placements with Thames Water and AWE Systems respectively.
Creative and Performing Arts: We are also delighted to celebrate the success of our students entering the creative arts. Congratulations to Abigail, Angus and Xander, who have all been accepted to study performance-based undergraduate courses at Conservatoires.
Headteacher, Amanda Woodfin is thrilled with the fantastic results our students have achieved this year.
“They are a clear reflection of the commitment and determination they have shown throughout their studies. These results demonstrate the impact of the hard work and dedication of our staff and the unwavering support from our parents. We wish every single one of our students the very best as they embark on their future journeys."
As our students move forward, we are confident they will continue to thrive and make a positive impact on the world. Congratulations to all!
