Why did you choose to come to The Bulmershe School?

I have been at Bulmershe from Year 7 all the way through to Year 13. I joined due to the amazing performance opportunities the school shows offered, as well as the fantastic extra-curricular options and trips.

How has The Bulmershe School inspired you to strive for your aspirations and dreams?

The commitment and dedication of the teachers, who are willing to provide you with extra hours of emotional as well as educational support inspires me to keep going and not to give up, even when the task at hand feels impossible.

How do you feel the co-curricular (extra-curricular clubs, trips, opportunities) experience at The Bulmershe School has benefited you?

Participating in multiple sports teams, events and fixtures has given me confidence and leadership skills that I will take with me in life and into my career. Studying A Level PE has furthered my interest in the function and teaching behind sport for different age groups.

What would you say is your favourite moment so far in your time at The Bulmershe School?

My favourite moment would be playing Mrs Wormwood in the school production of Matilda; it was my first big role in a school production. The tremendous amount of support that I received from staff and peers was amazing and it was the moment I faced my fear of singing on stage alone.

What is your favourite subject and why?

My favourite subject is drama as I enjoy the creative freedom it gives me to explore and speak out about current world problems and subjects that I feel passionate about – it gives me an opportunity to make people feel educated and emotional about certain topics.
