Grade 4 Salary: SCP 7 £26,403 - SCP 11 £28,142 Pro Rota (depending on experience)

Are you dedicated to improving literacy and helping young people unlock their potential? The Bulmershe School is seeking an enthusiastic Academic Mentor to join our friendly English department on a flexible part-time basis (3 days a week).
This is a focused and highly impactful role where you will lead small group intervention sessions for students in Years 7 to 11. Your primary goal is to provide targeted support in literacy development comprehension and writing skills, ensuring students can effectively engage with the English curriculum and keep pace with their peers. If you have patience creativity and a genuine passion for literacy and student development, this is a chance to see your support translate directly into student success.
You will be an integral member of our experienced department, collaborating closely with English teachers the Head of English and the wider Inclusion team to tailor effective intervention strategies.
